My GameDev Journey

Blog

Fail faster – there is no instant win

With this blog I want to connect with like-minded people and build some “pressure” to work on my game development skills. Instead of just showing polished projects, you can read about how I start, research, try out and fail at ideas and gaming concepts. These side projects are my way to learn new skills and share some of these experiences together with tutorials and gamedev related informations.

More about the Fail Faster Mantra.

Screenshot Saturday

There are so many cool games out there and even more in the making. With the hashtag #ScreenshotSaturday game developers can showcase their weekly progress with the community.

To keep track of the most inspiring and interesting screenshots on twitter, I keep a little series of blog posts with my personal favorites. This is my way of sharing some indie-love and connect with the gamedev community.

Software Developer

I am a software developer owning a company and freelance business since 1996. At day time I am usually developing intranet accounting and visual management software for automobile retailers. This is my private blog for my spare time projects.

Beside that I am a father, gamer and blogger. Gaming since I got my Atari 2600, VIC-20 and C64 back in my childhood. I am building an endless Pile of Shame and  I am hopeless addicted to steam and bundle sales.
